Pelopornews.co.id – Merak – 6 Mei 2023 — PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) mengonfirmasi bahwa telah terjadi kebakaran di KMP ROYCE 1 milik PT DLB pada Sabtu (6/5) sekitar jam 15.45 WIB saat pelayaran dari Merak menuju Bakauheni, Lampung.
Dilaporkan sebelum melintasi Pulau Tempurung Merak, kapal mengalami kebakaran. Namun saat ini api telah dapat dipadamkan. Rencananya KMP ROYCE 1 akan disandarkan dan dievakuasi di Merak.
Tim BPTD, ASDP, Basarnas dan instansi terkait telah berkoordinasi untuk segera mengondisikan kapal sandar di Merak dan dapat segera melakukan evakuasi kepada seluruh pengguna jasa.
